or 'The Happy Locust' is a system design based completely on a single insect - the Desert Locust. From an abstract outlining chemicals produced by this specific insect, in particular I was interested in the vitamin D, I created a recipe for an anti depressive baguette to be produced and sold in France, the country with the worlds highest depression rate. These baguettes would be sold by my fictional bakery, Le Locuste Heureux, accompanied with a cookbook featuring stories of loss and hardship submitted by the public along with the comfort recipes, that included bread of course, that helped get these individuals through the hard times.
